A Valentine
to dear Jeanette.
For, though I haven't
seen you yet
in this year
of ninety-four,
I'm sure it wont
be long before
our paths will cross.
We'll meet again.
Our long held friendship
will remain
a shining jewel
for years to come.
Warming, like
the Summer Sun.
A treasure held
in high regard.
Fond memories.
It's very hard
not to cease
all work and race
to the owner
of that face,
framed by striking,
firey hair.
Our dear Jeanette,
so very fair.
Let me, as I
close this rhyme,
hope you have
a lovely time.
So, put your feet up....
pause a while.
Light that very
lovely smile.
Enjoy the happiness
you spread
on this day....
and all ahead.
